Being a candidate for IEEE-USA President-Elect was an extraordinary honor. It was a great experience and I encourage others to participate at higher levels within the organization. 

Thanks to all who supported me for my candidacy for 2012 IEEE-USA President-Elect. I plan to continue serving on the IEEE-USA Board of Governors and the Computer Society Board of Governors in 2012. Over the next couple of years, I plan to focus on work and local activities. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to run again in the future.

In the interim, I encourage you to actively continue to be the change you want to see in IEEE and in the world around you. Volunteeer, have your voice heard and enjoy life's journey.
